We have had a sizzling hot summer!.
On a hot Sunday morning, June the 12th I awoke and rode my Mountain bike to Churchill park to register. Upon arrival around 8:00 a.m. I was already soaked (sweat). I told them I was registering to find out more and support the cause. I decided to volunteer and was able to help on the corner of Franklin Blvd. and Savage Drive.

I also had another agenda and that was to take photos of the event, and see if people would like to purchase them. Most people where not camera shy.. I took about 100 shots in total..
I took shots of the 25km race @ Victoria Park where bikes came zooming by... Some people waved and I am grateful that no one fell!! I hope you all will enjoy the action. If you wish to purchase your photo or have it removed you may contact me.

The purpose of the event is to keep Waterloo region area aware of the benefits of cycling ... E.g. Save time, money, improve health, help environment and it's fun..
